Travellers, or Travelers, is a generic term to indicate certain individuals having crossed dimensions through conventional or unconventional means.
Travelling could involve tunnel networks, as well as vessels (such as the Jorid), or even in some cases, innate capabilities of certain species, either on their own, or amplified through some devices.
Georges, Salome, Léonard, Madame Chesterhope, ShuLum and others are known as Travellers.

Georges is one of the main protagonists in the Gates of Alienor saga.
He has been a thief in the past, and grows to become more as the series unfolds. He learns to tune into his Traveller abilities, and becomes a key player in the phasing, as he becomes inexplicably entangled with ShuLum.
His relationship with Salome becomes gradually very close, and they soon become inseparable, even through time and space.

Georges and Salome will initially struggle to communicate with Leonard as his attention is very erratic, and he often mistakes much of what he sees for hallucinations, leading to a lack of trust. After several days of unsuccessful attempts, they will eventually succeed. Leonard is the one who will be able to help them utilize the Jorid not only to travel through time but also through other dimensions. His quirky nature will aid them, and simultaneously, they will assist him in generating more stability in his focus.
Salomé (also known Shyama) A Traveller and main protagonist of the Gates of Alienor saga; her family is thought to be originated from Earth, India, although she was raised in Alienor system. She first meets Georges through dreams, and the accounts and circumstances of their first physical meeting vary.

The Tunnels are a designation of the Guardians’ traveling network by other species, often tainted with superstition.
In actuality, they are using the knowledge of the connecting fabric between the planets and making use of it to imprint it with passageways that can retain more or less the imprint, depending of the frequency of usage of the passageway.
Tunnels are different from the traveling portals in that they were of exclusive use of the Guardians and those able to manipulate reality as they did. They are believed to have almost entirely disappeared (resorbed) by the time of the Warring Kingdoms, as Dragons and Nirguals only seldom made use of them.
His gaze became somber. The fear of some caves was deeply buried into the psyche of most people living in this world. A fear inspired by the Guardians, as caves often were passageways to those other worlds. And they were very useful.
